As I walked past 1C classroom during Recess time, I saw our beloved Chinese teacher screaming her head off, with face a bit distorted, at the innoncent-looking pupils while they stared blankly at her. I think they were trying to decipher her babblings.
After a short while, she stomped off, her face as black as coal and as long as a horse's. Thereafter, the boys passed some unkind remarks about her and said loudly that they would complain to their mothers that night! Hmmm... give her a break.
After school, I met my ex-classmate at the crowded bus-stop. He doesn't seem to have grown much in terms of height. We greet each other warmly and chatted away.
All of us huddled to the back of the bus and to my greatest astonishment, this ex-classmate did a very peculiar thing. He stretched out both hands and grabbed the holders with outstretched hands and swung them all the way to our destination, to some rhythm/music in his head. Hmm... school life must be tough for him. My brother and I were at a loss. We did not even know what to do. Should we continue to supress our laughter or to tell him to stop. You see, this very action may not reflect good on us Victorians. Fellow passengers may think that life in VS is tough and driving students nuts. Hmmm...Anway, he stays near us. We alighted together and my younger brother and I tried to contain our amusement and waved goodbye to him.
As my brother, his classmate and I were walking home from the bus-stop, we were stopped by an unkempt and unwashed old man. He asked us for $2. We were taken aback. I thought begging is prohibited. I politely told him that we had spent all our pocket money while my brother and his classmate held their breath. You see, the old man smelt like a Rafflesia. Then, we walked briskly away and ran all the way home as if we saw...
What a day! Who can ever say school life is boring. I Love school! I Love VS!
